Request Rush is a cyberpunk "tower defense"(maybe?) simulator inspired by system design interviews (yes, it is about software engineering, system design). In this game, you will design systems with Gateways, Processors, Queues, and more to handle waves of digital Requests in a neon-lit world.

Instructions:
Drag and drop to buy different components, connect them together to route requests to processors. Buy more processors and other components to prepare for large amount of incoming requests.

  • To move camera around:
    WASD / ⬆️ ⬇️ ⬅️ ➡️ / mouse wheel button / ctrl + mouse movement
  • To zoom in/out:
    J / D / scroll mouse wheel

Dive in, optimize your system, and conquer the surge!

My Balabala:

I need your feedback to make it better! Please play and share your thoughts:

  • Is building systems (e.g., placing and connecting Processors, Queues, Databases) fun and satisfying? What makes it enjoyable / frustrating / boring?
  • How should levels be designed to make Request Rush more fun and keep you playing? What new mechanics or challenges would make you want more levels?
  • What’s the most exciting moment in Request Rush? How could we make the game feel even more thrilling?
